AT87 is a high‑performance, black polyisobutylene (PIB) self‑amalgamating tape designed to deliver a reliable, watertight seal in the toughest environments. Unlike traditional adhesive tapes, AT87 contains no adhesive—it bonds to itself when stretched and wrapped, forming a seamless, durable layer that protects against moisture, corrosion, and abrasion.

Engineered for demanding applications, AT87 offers excellent UV, water, and ozone resistance, ensuring long‑term stability even in harsh outdoor conditions. Its strong elastic qualities allow it to conform easily to smooth or irregular surfaces, while its removable backing film ensures clean, easy application.

With a wide operating temperature range from –30°C to +100°C, AT87 performs consistently in extreme weather and is resistant to chemicals including alkalis, hydraulic fluids, and vegetable oils. This makes it ideal for marine use, electrical insulation, cable waterproofing, satellite dish sealing, and temporary plumbing repairs.
